Dinan is a fabulous little city - population about 20,000 - crammed
with historic buildings in little streets and a huge range of
shops.
Touristy in a nice French way, you can buy all you could imagine
here - original sculptures in the artists' studios, unusual toys,
designer clothes, exotic flowers, chocolates, porcelain and much,
much more.
Restaurants abound, there's a market on Thursdays and the port
area below the viaduct over the Rance is a 'must see'.
The little park below the castle ramparts is a pleasant place
to unwind while children enjoy looking at the animals.
Even after a few days wandering around the town, you're sure to
find some new point of interest here. |
