Mike and Jane - visited November 2004

We were Ros and John's first holiday visitors. Before we left, we were provided with easy to follow directions and set off on the daily Ryanair flight from Luton. Dinard airport terminal was about the size of our local village school and we had collected both baggage and our hire car within 15 minutes of landing.

It only took about 25 minutes or so to travel to Rossetaz and we were soon unpacked and off to the local supermarket, which we had passed on the way, so knew how to find it. By the time we returned with one of the tastiest frozen pasta meals I've had, the cottage was warm and welcoming.

Cooking was really easy as all the equipment and utensils were full size and English-friendly.

We found the lounge area comfortable and had taken DVDs with us, so took the chance to catch up on some favourite films, using the DVD player and TV, so thoughtfully provided.

Although the house has plenty of space for eight people, it was equally suitable for two and the two bedrooms we did not use looked very comfortable. It was nice to find clean, up-to-date bedding supplied - in fact I would say that the house has all the conveniences that English visitors appreciate, while still retaining plenty of French feel.

Our visit was for house hunting purposes, so we didn't do all the tourist haunts, but found the location of the cottage ideal for getting out and about to all directions from Dinan. The convenience of having the freedom to come and go as we pleased, rather than using a hotel, was very welcome.

We're looking forward to our next visit, when we'll certainly book Rossetaz again.
